  • Minor injuries, cuts, wounds, minor burns
  • Minor eye complaints and irritations requiring washouts and irrigation
  • Removal of foreign bodies

Barod in Wales’ Naloxone Click and Deliver service. Naloxone is a life saving medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, including those related to heroin, methadone, morphine, buprenorphine and codeine. It can work within five minutes of being administered and can last between 20 to 40 minutes. It is crucial that anyone who experiences an overdose gains medical assistance, so therefore you need to call 999 and ask for an ambulance immediately. Order your naloxone kits here.

The micro-enterprise programme is available free of charge to people wanting to provide a service in Pembrokeshire or Carmarthenshire.

A micro-enterprise is a small care or support business that helps people to live independently and well. Often, they are sole traders but could be a small Limited Company employing up to eight people. They can provide a range of services including:

  • Support to remain independent at home – cleaning, preparing meals, gardening etc.
  • Companionship and support to access social groups and activities
  • Support with personal care needs
