Unfortunately there are circumstances which may result in a person being removed after registration and these are:

  • Violent/aggressive behaviour, both verbal and physical.
  • Damage to or theft from the practice premises.
  • Smoking or the consumption of alcohol/illicit drugs on the premises or attending in an inebriated state.
  • Recurrent non-attendance of appointments.
  • Any other behaviour that significantly affect the Doctor patient relationship.

Our Location

Saundersfoot Medical Centre operates as a partnership with Kilgetty Medical Centre.  Together, we provide General Medical Services with the Hywel Dda Health Board. The Medical Centre and Branch Surgery are modern, purpose-built buildings.  We provide, full comfortable, and accessible facilities to the local community.

We participate in the advanced training of doctors to become General Practitioners.  Kindly note, our medical students are fully qualified doctors with extensive experience of hospital work.  However, the students are also broadening their experience, before becoming General Practitioners.

Keeping Your Details Up To Date

It is extremely important that you keep us up to date with any changes to your circumstances/contact details so that we may contact you when necessary.

You can inform us of change of details through the following methods:

  • In person – Please let a member of our Reception Team know if any of your personal details have changed. You can do this by approaching our reception desk.
  • By post – If you would like to post your new details to us, please send them to the practice address which can be found belowPlease remember to include your full name, date of birth, NHS number (if you have it available), your address and contact number.
  • By phone – We will need proof of any address or name change therefore you will need to come to the surgery with this or post the information in.

Quality Improvement Projects

We have an opportunity to improve outcomes and reduce healthcare demand by focusing on, and enabling, effective prevention of illness at key encounters with your GP surgery, such as new patient registrations and chronic disease management. We are also looking at ways that we can contribute to the decreasing of the carbon footprint of the NHS as a whole as we all play a part in this.

To work towards this, we are currently working on two Quality Improvement Projects. To learn more about our QI projects please click on the link below:
